SUN--10AM--They are going
through with blower now. Priority is walkways in front
with courtyards later. My understanding is they will
blow between cars also. Please do not ask them to do
special situations, since that is not part of our contract and
will detract them from their main job.
SAT-- 5PM Just talked to
Marion at Brickman. The contractor has many
properties and apparently dealing with "what's out there on
the roads" has been an around-the-clock, exhausting
proposition. She said that she's having her guys go home
and get some sleep, and they'll be out tomorrow. Getting
equipment like a snow blower down here has been a problem, but
they've managed to have the plower come through enough to keep
the depth of our road down.
PENDING COUNTY SEWER
ASSESSMENT
16 January
2010
In response to some of
the recent confusion regarding the annual sewer capital cost
assessment amounts, I spoke again with Leslie Campbell and
asked her to send me her absolute final estimates of these
amounts for each unit, also including the full-payment
estimated amounts for those who might wish to pay off the full
assessment at once. This document from the county is
attached . Please note
that these amounts may differ slightly from amounts you have
seen before. One source of confusion, I believe, is that
the various previous payment listings were not dated and,
consequently, individuals, including yours truly, could not
always be sure which listing was the final one. This
last listing from Leslie is dated 10/23/06.
As I
believe you know, the exact total cost of the project has not
yet been determined by the County. Once this
determination is made, the actual unit payments, both annual
and lump-sum full payment, also will be determined. The
County again has assured us, most recently in (email) writing,
that these actual payment amounts will be no higher than the
final estimated amounts, but could be lower.
In a
previous email, Leslie told me that we should expect
our first bill requesting payment to arrive in March of this
year (2010) and thereafter the bill will come
annually in January. The total number of uniform annual
payments is 30.
